In short
Your Numainda ("Your Numainda", "we", "us") answers on WhatsApp for online stores and cash-on-delivery merchants in Pakistan. If you ticked the consent box while checking out of a store we work with, that store passes us your name, your WhatsApp number and the details of your order, and we message you about that order — confirming it, telling you when it ships, and replying when you ask us something. That is the entire purpose. Nothing here is sold, and nothing here is used to advertise to you. This page sets out exactly what we hold, the basis on which we hold it, who else sees it, how long it stays, and how to end it in one word. We operate from Office No. 7C, St-10, Block 13 Gulberg Town, Karachi 78500, Pakistan. For any question or request, write to info@yournumainda.xyz or call +92 371 1099398.
Who decides, and who only carries the message
Two organisations handle your details and the difference between them matters. The store you bought from is the controller: it chose to collect your information, it placed the consent box on its checkout, and it owns the relationship with you as a customer. Your Numainda is the processor: we act on that store's instructions to deliver its messages and to answer you on its behalf, and we do nothing with your data beyond that instruction. We do not decide on our own account to market to you, we do not share your details with other merchants, and we do not sell data to anyone. Separately, for people who visit this website or contact us directly, we are the controller of that limited exchange. As a rule of thumb: questions about the order itself belong with the store, questions about how the messaging was handled belong with us.
What we hold
Deliberately little. From the store's checkout we receive your name as you entered it, your WhatsApp or mobile number, and order details such as the order number, a summary of the items, the order value, the cash-on-delivery amount and the delivery city. From the WhatsApp exchange itself we keep the delivery and read status of each message, whatever you reply — usually a confirmation, a question or the word STOP — and the times these happened. We keep a consent record showing that you opted in, which store you opted in for, and when. From this website we log ordinary technical information such as IP address, browser type and basic page analytics. We do not collect CNIC or passport numbers, passwords, card numbers or any payment-card data, and we do not build advertising profiles.
The basis on which we may message you
Because you actively asked us to. At the store's checkout an empty tick box names the store, states that support and order updates will arrive on WhatsApp, and explains that these are messages about your purchase rather than promotions. You tick it yourself. There are no pre-ticked boxes, no consent hidden inside terms and conditions, and no assumption that ordering implies permission to message. Alongside that consent we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the minimum records that prove the consent existed and that protect the service from misuse, and on legal obligation where a law requires us to keep or hand over something. Because every message is tied to a real order or a real question, we do not send marketing campaigns, cold outreach or bulk sends through this service at all.
WhatsApp and Meta's part in this
The messages travel over the official WhatsApp Business Platform, which Meta Platforms operates. To deliver a message, Meta necessarily processes your phone number and the message content, and its own terms and privacy policy apply to that part of the journey. Message templates are submitted to Meta for review before we may use them. Your Numainda is an independent company: we are not affiliated with, partnered with, sponsored by or endorsed by WhatsApp, Meta or Facebook, and their names and marks belong to them. We have no access to your WhatsApp account, your contacts, your profile photo, or any conversation you have with anybody other than us.
Who else can see it
A short list, and only where the work requires it. The merchant you ordered from sees your replies and the status of your order, because it is their customer conversation. Meta processes the message so it can be delivered. Our infrastructure providers host the systems the service runs on. Where a store uses a courier or an order-management platform, delivery status may pass between that system and ours so the update we send you is accurate. Everyone in that list is bound to use the data only to provide their service to us. Beyond this we disclose information only when a valid legal demand from a competent authority requires it, or where disclosure is necessary to investigate fraud or abuse of the service.
Where your data goes
Our operations are run from Pakistan. Some of the providers we depend on, including Meta, run infrastructure outside Pakistan, so your information may be processed in other countries as part of delivering a message. Where that happens we rely on the contractual terms those providers offer, and we keep the amount of data leaving our systems to what the delivery actually needs.
How long we keep it
Order and conversation records are kept while the merchant's account is active and for up to twenty-four months afterwards, so that a dispute about an order or a delivery can still be settled. Consent and opt-out records are kept for as long as we may need to demonstrate that a message was permitted, which can be longer than the conversation itself — a record that you opted out is precisely what stops you being messaged again. Website logs are kept for up to twelve months. When a retention period ends, records are deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
How we protect it
Data is encrypted in transit, access to production systems is limited to the small number of people whose job requires it and is protected by individual credentials, and administrative actions are logged. We take only the fields the service needs, which is itself a security measure: what is never collected cannot be leaked. No system is perfectly safe, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will tell the affected merchants without undue delay and support them in informing customers.
Your rights, and how to use them
You may ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct something that is wrong, ask for deletion, object to the processing, or withdraw your consent at any time. Write to info@yournumainda.xyz or message +92 371 1099398 and tell us the store you ordered from and the number that received the messages, so we can find the right record. We answer within thirty days. Because we act on the merchant's instructions, some requests — deleting the order record itself, for instance — are passed to that merchant, and we will tell you when that happens rather than leaving you waiting.
Turning the messages off
Reply STOP to any message. That single word removes your number immediately, no reason required and no confirmation call to sit through. The instruction is written in the messages themselves rather than buried in a policy page, nobody on our side can override it, and no further template will be sent to that number for that store. If a message still reaches you after you sent STOP, tell us and we will treat it as a fault to be fixed, not a complaint to be argued with.
Under-age visitors
The service is built for shoppers making purchases, and it is not directed at children under thirteen. We do not knowingly process their data. If you believe a child's information reached us through a store's checkout, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this page
When the service changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves. If a change materially affects how your information is handled, we will make that clear rather than hoping the new date is noticed. The version published here is always the current one.
